2023 Phoenix Fan Fusion
Phoenix Fan Fusion is a family-friendly event where enthusiasts of every fandom, geeks of all kinds, creators, artists, entertainers, cosplayers, fans, and friends are invited to join and express their passions.

Permitted and Prohibited Items
The safety and well-being of everyone who attends Phoenix Fan Fusion is of utmost importance. Please become familiar with and adhere to the Convention Center permitted/prohibited items policy.
Permitted Items
- When prop weapons are a part of the event, the following list of prop weapons are allowed:
- Simulated Edged weapons (swords, knifes, throwing stars etc.) made of soft foam, light weight plastic, cardboard and other materials that cannot be sharpened.
- Impact weapons (clubs, bats, staffs, nunchaku, shields, hammers, and martial arts weapons) made of soft foam, light weight plastic, cardboard and other materials that cannot be sharpened.
- Light Sabers
- Archery weapons (bows, cross bows, and bolts, bows and arrows of all types) when the bow is unstrung and when arrows are permanently attached inside a quiver.
- Wands, sonic screwdrivers, plushies, masks, fairy wings, empty holsters, signs attached to costumes, fur suits, cardboard-made costumes and non-weapon props, dishware associated with costumes, empty quivers, hats and helmets, Power Ranger Morphers, and umbrellas by example are allowed.
- When allowed, prop weapons must be inspected by security staff upon entry.
- The sale of items which are prohibited must be coordinated with the Event Manager. Delivery of sold prohibited items must take place off-site. When on display, these items must be secured in some way to prevent theft
Consistent with heightened security measures across the nation, all persons and items are subject to search prior to being granted access to the event. The Phoenix Convention Center reserves the right to either deny any person entry into or to eject any person from the facility for violation of any event rules, including, but not limited to, seeking to bring into and/or possessing or using any prohibited items.
Parking/Transportation/ADA
Parking
Guests are encouraged to beat the crowd by purchasing parking space in advance. For more information, see the
daily parking rates and review the
parking map to locate exactly where you're going. Parking rates will be $20 online and $30 at the door due to other downtown events happening concurrently with Fan Fusion.
Public Transit
There are numerous transportation options available to the Phoenix Convention Center including
Valley Metro Rail,
Valley Metro Bus, ride sharing companies (e.g., Uber or Lyft), pedicabs, scooters,
Grid Bikes, and many more.
