On July 15, it was announced that Phoenix would host the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.
During the action-packed weekend, the Phoenix Convention Center will host WNBA Live, a fan event, in the South Building. On July 17, the three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury hosted an event at Footprint Center to celebrate Phoenix's selection as the host city of AT&T WNBA All-Star 2024.
