Would you like to be a volunteer at one of the Southwest’s most exquisite performance venues?

The Phoenix Convention Center seeks high-energy, community-service-focused, individuals and groups who are looking for opportunities to contribute some time to a local arts organization.

Symphony Hall, located at 75 N. Second St. (Second and Adams Streets), hosts events staffed with volunteer ushers. As the primary hosts at Symphony Hall, ushers represent guest services during events. Duties include greeting and providing printed programs to attendees, escorting patrons to their seats, providing directions, and answering facility questions.

At Symphony Hall, we rely on our volunteer ushers to be courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to clients and guests. Keeping this in mind, volunteer ushers positively impact the experience of patrons of the arts in Phoenix, which keeps our valued guests coming back again and again.

And as a bonus…ushers have the added benefit of enjoying the shows!

Volunteer training is available monthly, scheduled according to need. Please contact Patty McMahon at patty.mcmahon@phoenix.gov for more information.
