MARYVALE VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the MARYVALE VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE and to the general public, that the MARYVALE VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE held a meeting open to the public on October 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. located in the new Community Room, at the Desert Sky Mall, 7611 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona.  (The new Community Room is located in the mall through the southwest entrance between Burlington Coat Factory and Cinema Latino.  The room is near the children’s coin-operated rides.)

Approved	2.	Review and approval of the September 23, 2008 meeting minutes.
Update provided	3.	Update by ADOT regarding I-10 West Widening Project.  Presentation by Andy Jacobs, Policy Development Group, Inc.  Information only, not for action.
Approved	4.	Presentation, discussion and possible recommendation on text amendment case Z-TA-12-08 Amend Sections 202, 622 and 623 of the Zoning Ordinance to define Pet Grooming, Pet Day Care and Pet Care Facilities. To allow as a primary use in C-1 Zoning District,  Pet Day Care, Pet Care Facility and Pet Grooming. To delete Pet Care Facility from the permitted use list in the C-2 Zoning District. Presentation by staff. (20 minutes)  The City Council is scheduled to ratify this request on November 12, 2008.
