When you are covering an event at one of our venues or reporting about the facilities themselves, we will do everything in our power to make your job easier and give you access to the information you need.

Media Requests

Media Logistics
We strongly recommend that you contact our public relations staff prior to arrival. We provide advance logistical media tours upon request and can connect you with the appropriate event promoters and convention planners on site.

Television and Radio/Parking Logistics
With our vibrant new downtown skyline and new buildings going up continually, transmission from Phoenix Convention Center is only possible from certain locations. For information about microwave/satellite truck/live remote parking locations contact Cynthia Weaver at 602.534.7633 or send e-mail to cynthia.weaver@phoenix.gov.

Please contact us in advance of your visit, so that we may help designate the best location for you, ensure access, notify security, and coordinate with any clients that may be in the building.

IMPORTANT VEHICLE NOTES:
Some locations require a microwave mast exceeding 45 feet in height.
Shade structures on the front deck/west side of Phoenix Convention Center are 10 feet in height and may limit access for some vehicles.
Vehicles must park 20 feet from access doors.

Securing Cables
For the safety of our guests, the taping or covering of all cables is mandatory within public areas of Phoenix Convention Center and venues. Carpet or rubber matting, or any clear tape that does not leave a residue on the floor, is acceptable. We recommend Bron BT-40C Clean Room Tape. There is an extensive underground tunnel system beneath the complex that is available for use. Contact Phoenix Convention Center's public relations staff to help facilitate access to these areas.
