The Phoenix Convention Center operates and manages approximately 8,000 parking spaces in the downtown area. There are an additional 26,500 public spaces in the surrounding vicinity.

Parking is available to everyone visiting the downtown area, not exclusively for use by the Phoenix Convention Center, and is subject to availability. Exhibitors often have unique needs, from Loading & Unloading, to vehicle storage during multi-day events.

Overnight parking

Due to city zoning restrictions, overnight parking is not permitted in Phoenix Convention Center parking garages.

Oversize vehicles/trailers

Parking for large vehicles/trailers is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the East Garage, located at 601 E. Washington St. As space is limited, any vehicle requiring more than one space will pay a fee for each space.

In order to accommodate the needs of as many clients/vendors/exhibitors as possible, the convention center requires that users park oversize vehicles on the first level and all accompanying vans, trucks and cars may be parked on upper levels (second floor or higher) of the East Garage at the pre-approved or market rate.

Marshalling yard

A marshalling yard with office space is available for storing oversize vehicles, tractors and trailers during contracted event dates. The marshalling yard is located at 1102 E. Tonto St., approximately 1.5 miles south of the Phoenix Convention Center.

Parking passes

Clients/vendors/exhibitors parking passes are available primarily for the East Garage at 601 E. Washington St. Your event manager can assist in arranging for parking in other garages, depending on availability.
Phoenix Convention Center Parking Services produces and provides all parking passes.

Unoccupied motor homes

Unoccupied motor homes are parked in the East Garage at 601 E. Washington St. Overnight occupancy or recreational activities are not permitted, due to city zoning restrictions. All parking requires advance scheduling and will be accommodated based on availability.

Garage locations

For exhibitors and vendors, the East Garage serves a majority of the parking needs for oversize and companion vehicles. However, daily public parking for standard vehicles is available at any of the nearby parking garages, based on availability:

  • East Garage, 601 E. Washington St.
  • West Building Garage, Second and Monroe streets (southeast corner)
  • North Building Garage, Monroe Street between Third and Fifth streets
  • Heritage Square Garage, 123 N. Fifth St.
  • Regency Garage, 40 N. Second St.
