NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY COMMISSION

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY COMMISSION and to the general public, that the ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY COMMISSION will hold a meeting open to the public on January 15, 2009, at 7:30 a.m. located in the West Conference Room, 14^th Floor, Phoenix City Hall, 200 West Washington Street, Phoenix, Arizona.

 

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

1.	Call to Order	Jill Van Dierendonck, Chair
2.	Review and Approval of November 20, 2008 Minutes: This item is for discussion and possible action.	Commission
3.	Administrative Procedures:  Review of attendance policy and policy for communication among members. This item is for discussion and possible action.	Jill Van Dierendonck, Chair
4.	Work Plan Review and Initiative Request Form:  Review of current work plan and discussion of changes for 2009.  Discussion of Initiative Request Form and process for adding items to the work plan. This item is for discussion and possible action.	Jill Van Dierendonck, Chair
5.	Climate Action Plan Goal:  City staff will review the new goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from city operations. This item is for discussion and possible action.	Gaye Knight, Phoenix Climate Action Plan Project Manager
6.	Public Comment:  Those wishing to address the Commission need not request permission in advance.  No discussion or action may be taken by the Commission.  The Commission may request that the issue be included on a future agenda.	Public
