NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

NORTH GATEWAY VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the nORTH GATEWAY VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE and to the general public, that the NORTH GATEWAY VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE will hold a meeting open to the public on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., located in Classroom 101, at the Goelet A. Beuf Community Center, 3435 West Pinnacle Peak Road.

 

Note:   1.     Agenda items may be taken out of order.

            2.     Anyone wishing to address an agenda item must complete a speaker card.

            3.     Due to the time required for the number of items, the following time limits are recommended so that the Committee may give all the cases on the agenda the same level of attention:

                    Ÿ   Staff Report and Recommendation

                    Ÿ   Applicant: 15 minutes

                    Ÿ   Other Interested Parties:  15 minutes

                    Ÿ   Applicant Response:  5 minutes

                    Ÿ   Staff Comments

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1.	Call to order.
2.	Review and approval of the October 9, 2008 meeting minutes.
3.	Public comments concerning items not on the agenda (not for committee discussion or action).
	RECOMMENDATION ITEMS
4.	Presentation, discussion, and possible recommendation on text amendment case Z-TA-13-08 Wireless Communication Facilities and Satellite Earth Stations.  Presentation by representative of the Arizona Wireless Association.   The Planning Commission will consider this request on February 11, 2009.
	INFORMATION ITEMS
5.	Presentation and discussion on the entitlement process.  Presentation by Tricia Gomes.  This Item is for Information and Discussion only.
6.	Nominations and election of the Chair and Vice Chair for 2009.
7.	Discussion regarding the status of the city of Phoenix budget.
8.	Staff update on cases recently reviewed by the Committee (not for committee discussion or public input).
9.	Committee member requests for information, follow-up or future agenda items (not for committee discussion or action).
	Next regular meeting is on February 12, 2009  at 6:00 pm.
10.	Adjournment.
