NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

ENCANTO VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the ENCANTO VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE and to the general public, that the ENCANTO VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE will hold a meeting open to the public on December 1, 2008 at 6:15 p.m. located in the Willo Conference Room, Phoenix College, 3310 N. 10th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.  [The building is located at the northeast corner of Flower Street & 11th Avenue.  Use entrance off Flower Street.]

·        Agenda items may be taken out of order.

• Anyone wishing to address an agenda item must complete a speaker card.
• Time for comments may be limited to ensure that different viewpoints are heard.

 

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1.	Call to order
2.	Review and recommendation of the November 3, 2008 meeting minutes.
3.	PHO-1-08 – Z-53-06-4: Presentation, discussion and possible action on a request to modify a stipulation for rezoning case Z-53-06 regarding commencement of development within 24 months of City Council approval. Subject property is located approximately 450 feet south of the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and Indian School Road. The Planning Hearing Officer will consider this request on January 21, 2009.
4.	PHO-2-08 – Z-183-86-4: Presentation, discussion and possible action on a request to delete and modify stipulations for rezoning case Z-183-86-4. Subject property is generally bounded by Central Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Osborn Road and Catalina Drive. The Planning Hearing Officer will consider this request on December 17, 2008.
5.	Presentation and discussion of the city of Phoenix land entitlement process.  Presentation by staff.
6.	Nomination and election of the Encanto Village Planning Committee Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
7.	Committee announcements and public comments. (Not for committee discussion).
8.	Identification of future agenda items.
9.	Adjournment.
