The Special Projects Unit is a unique law enforcement operation in which officers conduct property crime investigations through extraordinary means. Included in this unit is the departments Technical Surveillance Detail that is responsible for providing telecommunication intercepts, countermeasure sweeps, lock picking, and evidentiary tape copying.
