Hatcher Road Overlay

The Hatcher Road Overlay became effective July 4, 2008. This regulatory overlay applies to all properties touching Hatcher Road between Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street. The overlay allows greater flexibility in uses and standards that will contribute to the vitality of the Hatcher Road area and enhance the pedestrian and streetscape environment. Benefits of the overlay include additional primary and accessory uses, allowance of outdoor display of merchandise, relaxation of parking requirements and increased lot coverage. Set backs and build-to lines established for new construction and major expansions for structures are to create a pedestrian oriented environment.
