44th Street and Camelback Road

In 2007, four rezoning requests were filed for the intersection of 44th Street and Camelback Road PDF. The four cases were reviewed by the Planning Department and other affected city of Phoenix departments. A summary of the proposed building uses and square footage as well as the number of residential units for each project is listed below. Additionally, requests for modification of existing zoning stipulations for the northwest corner were received. Agendas for all public meetings were posted in advance.

Proposed Development Z-55-07-6/Z-56-07-6, northwest corner of intersection (developer is M3 Companies)

This request was withdrawn prior to City Council action.

Proposed Development Z-38-07-6, southwest corner of intersection (developer is Grace Communities)

This request was approved by the City Council.

Proposed Development Z-35-07-6, southeast corner of intersection (developer is Opus)

This request was denied by the City Council.
