Water Bill Payment
Paying your bill.
Step 1 - entering account and payment information
You will need to enter the account number and the service address as printed on your water bill. The system will verify this information and then take you to a page where the balance owing will be provided. Enter the amount you are going to pay. You may pay any amount; you are not limited to paying the balance shown.Step 2 - Entering credit card information to pay
At this point, you can pay additional water bills by selecting "Enter More Accounts" which will return you the account number and address entry page. Once you have items in your "Pay List" you will have the option to review and / or remove any of the items.
You can also save your account information to access it later in the day.
When you are ready to pay the amount shown in the "Pay List" click on the "Pay Now" button to complete the process.
How to save information you have entered so you can pay later.You will be asked to review and agree to pay the amount shown. At this point, you have the option of reviewing your items and deleting any you do not want. You cannot add or change entries in step 2.
WARNING! After this point, do not use the back arrow to go back to step 1.
You cannot use the back arrow to go back to step 1. To add anything to your "Pay List" you must save your "Pay List" and then go back to the Water Bill Payment page. (See below about saving information.)
After you agree to pay, you will enter your credit card information. This includes card type, card number, expiration date, card holder name and billing address information as it appears on your credit card account.
If you enter your e-mail address, we will send you a payment receipt. You may also enter a phone number so we may contact you in case of any problems processing your payment.
After you click on the "continue" button, you will go to a page that allows you to review the information you entered. You may go back to the previous page and make changes or click on "Charge My Credit Card" to make the payment.
Once you choose to have the city of Phoenix charge your credit card, your information is sent to our credit card processor. This may take up to one minute to complete and cannot be cancelled once the process has started.
If the payment is accepted, a payment receipt will be displayed for printing and a receipt will be sent to the e-mail address if you provided one.
Do not save your information if you are using a public workstation.
During the payment process you can save the information you have entered about a water account. On the bill payment pages click on "Save Information so I can pay later". This will bring up pages that allow you to save the water account information you have entered for 24 hours. If you are in step 2 entering credit card information and choose to cancel your transaction, you will have the option to save your information. For security reasons this does not save any credit card information, only information about transactions. Using the "Erase Information" button will prevent later access to this information.
